The Department of Urban Planning at the Faculty of Urban Planning holds a scientific workshop on measuring deprivation indicators

The Department of Urban Planning at the Faculty of Urban Planning – University of Kufa held a specialized scientific workshop on methodologies for standardizing indicators of deprivation in Al-Najaf Governorate, on Sunday 4-9-2023. Lecturer Dr. Latif Khudair Latif from the Urban Planning Department lectured at the workshop. The session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Naseer Abdul-Razzaq Hasaj, where the lecturer in the workshop dealt with the scientific methods and methods for measuring indicators of deprivation in the holy city of Najaf in light of the standards of the Ministry of Planning. The workshop concluded that ambiguity surrounds the methodology for standardizing and identifying indicators after reviewing it in detail. For all social, economic and urban sectors.
