The Faculty of Urban Planning at the University of Kufa is discussing a master’s thesis

The Faculty of Urban Planning – University of Kufa conducted a master’s thesis discussion in urban planning and tagged (sustainable urban transformation… an analytical study in the transformation of the city of Nasiriyah into a sustainable city) on Tuesday, corresponding to 2/28/2023 for the student (Diaa Adel Mohsen Al-Musawi), which aims to:

1) Determine the most important effective indicators for sustainable urban transformation.
2) Determine an appropriate path for the city’s transformation towards sustainability, based on the type of urban threats present in it.
The thesis concluded with a number of recommendations and planning proposals, which included:
1) Changes in the level of urban structures in the city that would address urban threats to improve the reality of the city..
The thesis was accepted as part of the requirements for obtaining a master’s degree after making minor modifications to it.
