The Department of Urban Planning at the Faculty of Urban Planning holds two panel discussions for the department’s teachers

The Department of Urban Planning, within its annual plan for seminars for the first semester of the academic year 2022-2023, held two discussion seminars, which included a presentation of lecturers’ seminars for the first semester of the current academic year, on Wednesday 11-30-2022, in the presence of the department head and a number of teachers.

The first presentation was presented by a.m.d. Zuhair Abdel-Azim Nassar on the concept of digital twin and its impact on the future of urban design. His panel discussion included a definition of the concept of digital twin, its types, origins and uses. The presentation also included a review of digital twin models in cities, its mechanism of action and levels of use, in addition to presenting its benefits and applications in many cities. .
