President of the University, Dr. Muhsin Al-Dhalimi, visited the college on Monday 12/11/2018 in occasion of the beginning of the academic year. He was warmly welcomed by the dean and a group of teaching staff. He visited the scientific departments, the labs and administrative units.

In a voluntary campaign on Monday 12/11/2018, Doctors from  the Faculty of Medicine delivered a lecture at college about Breast Cancer to educate the staff and the students about this disease.

The college conducted an election process on Wednesday 14/11/2018. The three scientific departments’ students elected their student representatives to represent them in the departments and the deanship. The election process was administered by the head of the departments.

Department of Environmental Planning conducted a workshop about “Plastic Pollution and its Effect on the Environment” on Wednesday 14/11/2018. The department invited Dr. Hussein Mahmood to deliver a lecture about the plastic materials, categories and types. A group of the college staff and the students attended the workshop.

Department of Regional Planning organized a scientific visit to Al-Shamiya District on Thursday 15/11/2018 to meet with the administrative officials to prepare the structural layout project for the district. Al-Shamiya official departments offered assistance to complete the project.

The college honored Mrs. Sadiya Kamil for her scientific promotion from assistant instructor to instructor on Sunday 17/11/2018. She was handed an appreciation certificate by the dean of the college.

The college dean and the instructor Ehsan Kreem participated in the first annual form for the scholarships students who returned home recently. The forum was held by Wasit University in collaboration with the faculty of Engineering on Tuesday 20 /11/2018. The dean was handed a participation certificate.
